Marc Jacobs SS 2011 THE SHOW@NYC

This summer i’ve been through an amazing journey.I got to go to New York Fashion Week and not only,but i’ve been exactly in the middle of it all.Working as an intern at Marc Jacobs has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience.And i can tell you it’s been the best summer ever due to it.

     Going through the craziness of fashion week is absolutely not possible to describe in words.I repeat.NOT POSSIBLE.It’s been a non-stop no weekend 15 hour a day job.It sounds exhausting as it is,but as i said,it can’t be described in words.

       Even though that sounds a little rough,i can say that i still loved it.I got to see the most famous models in the world,spend everyday with the coolest colleagues and people,see and live in the most incredible and interesting city in the world,witness global-level events,and be in the same room with Marc Jacobs everyday :))).

      It’s been a LOT of hard work.And even if i try to explain this to my friends and people my age at least(im 17),they still don’t seem to get the concept of real and raw hard work.It’s been a mind-blowing oportunity and it makes me want to punch anybody who says that i’ve been nothing but a “slave” or why would anybody do that if there isn’t any money involved?I’ll tell you why.I’ve learned things that some people won’t learn in a lifetime and it was fun.I’ve made great friends and i learned what ambition is with their help.

    In the end after sawing flowers,dying materials and counting sequins(3/1000 things that had to be done around) all was worth it at the show.

      All was represented by 12 minutes of pure art and beauty.

Marc Jacobs Lola Ring

   I’ve been wanting this ring for forever,and since working at Marc Jacobs right before NY Fashion Week literally becomes your life,there is NO time for anything else.That’s why one lunch break i got really motivated and took Doina with me to the Soho Marc Jacobs Store.We ran like crazy and when we got there Doina told the manager who happened to be there and happened to be her friend that i will not sleep that night unless i got the Lola Ring.I bought two,one for me and one for my friend.When we got back to work someone had to be sent to open the door for us cause the doorman was gone :)).

        Hey there.My name is Anastasia.I’m 17 and i live in Bucharest.In the past months i’ve been experiencing more and more out of the Fashion Industry and it started to grow on me.To me,it’s starting to look like a way of life.I’ve finished my internship at ELLE Bucharest an MARC JACOBS NYC.In the summer of 2011 i’ll be doing my third internship at Moschino Store Bucharest.Gaining knowledge is basically the most important thing for me now.In 2012 I’ll be setting off to college and i intend in following Fashion Stylist Courses.I’ve decided to make this blog in order to share my fashion experiences and keep track of everything i do.I go to some fashion shows and events as well so i’ll be posting what’s interesting.Also,in blogging,i believe there are two basic rules:

1.If you intend on making your blog in a certain language that is other that your native one,make sure you’re spelling is right.Some blogs are really amusing to me because their owners don’t even know English that well,they just think it’s “cool”:)).

2. A blog is a personal space on which you post  things that you like,and things that you are interested in which you would like to share with others.In the case that you like my blog,i would be very happy about it :).If you don’t,that’s ok.Everybody has his own preferences.And here comes my point…If you don’t like my blog,no need to stay on it!:))
